About TIH Foundation for IoT and IoE at IIT Bombay


TIH Foundation for IoT and IoE at IIT Bombay is one of the 25 hubs setup under National Mission of Interdisciplinary Cyber- Physical Systems (NM-ICPS) sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology (DST).

The Foundation, a section 8 company (not for profit), is conceptualised in the quest for Industry 4.0 and related areas for doing interdisciplinary, collaborative, and translational research in the broad area of Internet of Things (IoT) and Internet of Everything (IoE).

Learn, unlearn, and relearn emerging technologies to build innovative solutions for the world’s current challenges and enable human advancement.



Amalgam of technologies with a strong entrepreneurial focus which is envisioned to create world-class products and services that will positively impact billions of lives.



Consistently work towards capacity building, creating a powerful workforce with all the necessary tools and techniques, developing prototypes, proofs-of-concepts (PoC) and translating them into products.


Activities will be performed in conjunction with industry/ start-ups that would lead to new jobs creation and economic growth.
